Guru Pooja Sankalpa from THE Big mind!

Dear All,

I have a new Guru story to share with you all today!

Sometime in June I got a strong thought that I need to take up a sankalpa of Guru Pooja for 21 days continuously after Sunita Didi Thigale from Mumbai performed a Guru Pooja at my place during her Eternity course happening at my home.

With Gurudev’s grace, we got to organize one more Eternity course at my home immediately in July with Sunita Didi again and obviously the sankalpa started taking shape on its own with Sunita Didi agreeing to perform Guru Pooja every evening at my home along with Eternity course.

We started on 29th of June and after few days it struck to me that Guru Pournima falls on 29th of July that is exactly after 10 days when we finish our 21st Guru Pooja. It took me by surprise and we decide to extend the Sankalpa to 31 days till Guru Pournima!!!


With immense support & cooperation form Sunita Didi as well as following Guru Pooja performers after the eternity course was over, the Guru Poojas continued will lots of surprises and challenges.

And yesterday turned out to be the peak of surprise!!!

After Guru Pooja Sheelaji was sharing with us that it is a directive from Gurudev to perform Guru Pooja at many places especially one month before Guru Pournima!!! My heart could not help but leap with joy to see His amazing timing of events, situations and blessings... so perfect and infinitely abundant!!!

Can you see we are doing exactly 31 Guru Poojas in sequence! Right here in Pune, in Kothrud!!

And that too without having any clue about Big Mind’s instructions!!!


I and all those who have been part of this Sankalpa are all brighter smiles after that :)

I appeal to all Guru Pooja Performers and devotees in and around Pune to be part of this Sankalpa as anyway everything else is done by the divine!

A: Any day, any occasion, any excuse is fine to DO Guru Pooja. No excuse needed.
You can take a list of all our 16 Sanskars from Hindu dharma, add some festivals/ holy
days from other religions..... doesn't make a difference.

Q6: Why should one be the one who can perform Guru Pooja?
A: First of all, Guruji wants and has asked performers to do Guru Pooja in as many homes
possible. (especially one month before Guru Pournima)

Second, You just read that Guru Pooja can be performed at several occasions. Its very very
powerfully positive environment creating process, an extremely sacred one. Thus more and
more people would want it to be done at their home on more and more occasions.

Third, there are VERY VERY FEW performers.

Fourth, Guru Poooja gives you an utter feeling of contentment..... Santosha and Trupti.

Q7: How to become the one who can perform Guru Pooja?
A: There are 2 courses which you will have to undergo to be able to perform Guru Pooja
at other's homes: Guru Pooja phase I and phase II.
